COCONUT DEHUSKING MACHINE

This project was  designed and fabricated by Etim, Bassey Bassey, Ekpo Emmanuel Owogaga, and Ibah Charles of the Department of Mechanical Engineering in Cross River University of Technology. Technically it serves as an alternative to using manual means of removing coconut fibre with a cutlass as being done in the villages, In order to minimize the risk of potentially being wounded by a cutlass, this machine was fabricated. it can dehusk up to 40 coconuts in a time frame of 2 minutes than the conventional means of using a cutlass.
